Saturday, December 20, 2008 Time: 5:00 PM Taizé ("TEH-zay")*:
prayer/meditation, silence, and simple music that seems to calm and
quiet the soul. Taizé is drawn from the practices of a monastic
community founded during World War II in France for Religious dislocated
by war. Now people from Catholic, Protestant
and other traditions from all over the world flock to worship together
in Taizé, which has been described as a
"holy stop, a sabbatical rest, a truce of worries."
