and Help St. John's at the Same Time
Now you can do a search, or shop at your favorite internet shops, and help St. John's at the same time! St. John's has just registered as a charity with www.goodsearch.com and www.goodshop.com, a new Yahoo!-powered search engine and online shopping mall.
Use GoodSearch just as you would any other search engine, and GoodSearch will immediately donate one cent to St. John's for each search you perform.
From GoodSearch.com, you can click on the SHOPPING tab and use GoodShop to purchase items from your favorite on-line store. Then, GoodShop will automatically donate up to 37% of the revenues to St. John's. There is no increased cost to you. Note that you can see how much St. John's has "earned," but it takes a few weeks for your purchases to be credited to St. John's account.

TIP #1 An easy way to keep the GoodSearch website handy is to place its icon (URL/address) on your computer's Desktop. Then, you can double-click on the icon to access the website for searching or shopping.
HOW: First, use the URL http://www.goodsearch.com/?charityid=878191 to access the GoodSearch website. Then, from the menu at the top of your screen, click File, & Send To, and click on Shortcut on Desktop to place the GoodSearch icon on your desktop. The URL specifies that St. John's is "your" charity, so you will not have to input that information.

TIP #2 Another option is to make GoodSearch your web homepage. Then, every time you start your web browser, GoodSearch will always be the first website that you see. As you work on the Internet, you can click on your browser's HOME button to return to GoodSearch anytime you want.
